new years resolution!!

OK..i know its March n the title is a lil off..actually this is bout my new years resolution... i actually managed to keep it even UNTIL NOW!! wheee...m sooo proud of myself *pats self* hopefully it'll last till end of the year :)

addicted to dates...

Ok..as of recently i started to get addicted to dates..no..not going out with boys kinda dates..Dates as in the fruit..one of the favourite fruit of our beloved Prophet (pbuh)..

Here are some facts on dates:


- it is high in potassium (meaning it helps those with constipation) and also contains phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and iron.

- As for vitamins, it contains Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Niacin, Folate and Choline.

- One date is about 20 calories

- It is a good source of energy

- It is easily digested

- It is good for intestinal health as in it helps to establish a colony of friendly bacteria in the intestines.

- It is good to strengthen the heart

- Though it is sweet, it does not attract ants at all

- It could be kept at room temperature or even in the fridge for a very long time without spoiling

- now this one is pretty interesting though I am not sure if it is true or not…. it could be used to make a tonic to improve sexual stamina and sterility due to functional disorders.

Imagine that, dates could help your sex life! Forget the little blue pill and have more dates…

well.. apparently aisya has learn how to irritate me at a reaaaallly early age. sample of conversation :

Zaara is 2 and a half months now n apparently Aisya has establish herself to Zaara..everyday she will inform Zaara "u baby" n point to herself and proudly announce "KAKAK!" Its an amazing sight to see them communicating between them selves in their own language which only God knows wat they're talking about..Aisya can spend hours sitting beside Zaaras' chair n yap to her or sometimes sing and dance (She is quite the entertainer actually)..makes you actually wonder wat the hell were you doing to your life before they existed..



I was watching Aisya on her rocking horse last night and i started to imagine the fights that would break out once Zaara start to play also..at that time, iimagine most of the time my phone rings, my house number will come out for one of them to tattletale on the other...A good thing that their birthdays are only 3 days apart..Therefore,birthday parties will be held together n any presents will be recieved and opened at the same time..thats one fight avoided... *phew*






On another note, i finally got the key to my house last week *yeay* n spent CNY checking my defects..mirul is anxious to move it but it'll take about a couple of months before that happens.so, hopefully this years' raya we'll be in out own place.. *grin*..wonder wat that'll be like ..of course, before raya is the WORLD CUP (FORZA ITALIA!!)season..mirul said "as long as i have my 42",PS3 and Astro Sport, i leave the rest of the house to ur discretion"..one would think that he'll think twice before saying that to me..wonder wat his reaction is gonna be when he sees that room being painted purple!! *grin*


anyway, the best thing about this is the SHOPPING!!..we're moving in with practically nothing soo that means lots and lots of shopping!! so far I've taken advantage of the CNY sale and gotten our fridge,washer,dryer,oven and water heater..the TV that i wanna get was a new model so no discount so i'll just wait to get it once the house is ready seeing that there's no diff in the price..

its 120am n im super sleepy n STILL im on facebook..its like an addiction that i just have to fulfill...

Home sweet home...

My house is finally ready!! (when I say house, I mean apartment k) After the long awaited promises of CF for soo many months.. ITS FINALLY OUT!! Yeay!! So now is the hassle of chasing the bank to release the final payment.. then starts the headache of RENOVATION!! Am gonna use Adrian, my familys contractor so less one headache of finding a contractor…




Things to do during renovation:

1) Lighting & fan (yes, CV doesn’t even give lights n fans..)

2) Aircond in the 3 rooms + living room

3) Kitchen cabinets

4) Shoe rack cabinet

5) Bathroom

6) Plaster ceiling

7) Install water-heater



As I’ll be moving in from my parents house, you could say im starting from scratch!! As the quote goes “EVERYTHING MUST BUY!!” so far the only things I’ve bought is the fridge, washing machine, dryer and oven. Tu pun beli awal sbb CNY so ada discount…then suruh kedai simpankan..currently is the “exciting” part of finding the TV..as mirul says” As long as I have my 40” and PS3,I leave the rest of the place to your discretion” sampai dh naik pening tgk all sorts of models of TVs..



Seriously, since November, money has been flowing like water from a leaking pipe..from the delivery to the Zaara’s hospitalization due to jaundice to cukur jambul now for the house…savings taking a VERY VERY big hit…*sigh*

Amira Zaara

Ok..so I have just started work after a 2 month maternity leave which I didn’t even blog ONCE!! huhuhu..kinda ironic that I blog now when im swamped with work after 2 months of free time..


Amira Zaara was delivered at1234am on the 30th of November after 10 hours of labour.. Actually my water broke at around 215pm just 5 minutes after reaching home from a wedding…huh..imagine wat would have happen had it broke when I was at the wedding…hahaha..i’ll probably be accused of stealing the spotlight 

All in all, Zaara is fine except for the fact that she has this thing with her umbilical cord where it didn’t drop off properly.. actually only half dropped off.. the stump is still at her tummy n is bleeding so most probably has to be cut off.. thing is, only government hospitals can do it so it looks like m stuck with using up my annual leaves this year for hospital visit…

Zaara, mummy really hope u get well fast..

Aisya has really taken to her sister..there was some initial resentment at first but after a week she accepted her sister n will be the one calling us when Zaara starts crying..its so sweet as a mother to see this things.. The way I see it, they will be the best of frens n the best of enemies..
